Introduction to Momentum Management Solutions

If you're reading this, you're probably evaluating whether Momentum Management Solutions is the right partner for your behavioral health organization — or you're simply trying to understand what we actually do beyond the word "consulting." Here's the short version, and the longer explanation behind it.

We're Operators First

Momentum was built by people who have run behavioral health organizations, not just advised them from the outside. Our leadership team has scaled programs from 32 beds to over 1,800 beds, opened multi-state addiction recovery facilities, led revenue cycle and compliance transformations, and navigated the regulatory and accreditation environments that define this industry. That operating background shapes everything about how we work — we don't hand over a strategy deck and leave. We stay involved until the systems actually work.

Why "Integrated" Isn't Just a Buzzword

Distressed or growing behavioral health organizations rarely have one problem. A census shortfall is often connected to a staffing gap. A compliance issue is often connected to a documentation workflow nobody owns. A cash flow crunch is often connected to a real estate structure that never made sense in the first place. Momentum's model treats these as connected, not separate — coordinating operations, clinical systems, revenue cycle, compliance, and (through our relationship with Headspace Real Estate) facility strategy under one plan.

What We Actually Do

In practice, our work falls into a few categories:

  • De novo development — helping organizations launch new facilities from site selection through opening day and beyond

  • Turnaround management — stepping into organizations facing financial or operational strain and rebuilding the systems that keep programs viable

  • Fractional leadership — providing executive-level oversight in Operations, HR, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and Finance without the cost of a full-time hire

  • Ongoing consulting — supporting stable organizations that want sharper KPI visibility, stronger compliance posture, or better staffing systems

Who We Work With

We support organizations across the behavioral health spectrum — licensed substance use disorder treatment providers, mental health facilities, peer recovery organizations, and telehealth platforms. Each has different compliance realities and different funding models, and we've built our team to understand those distinctions rather than apply a one-size-fits-all playbook.

A Track Record Built in the Field

Our current and past work includes owning and operating Wildwood Recovery Center in Clintwood, Virginia; a 60-day operational and compliance turnaround at Appalachian Behavioral HealthCare in South Charleston, West Virginia; fractional HR and compliance leadership for Radley Health's telehealth expansion; and supporting Recovery Point West Virginia, one of the state's largest long-term residential recovery networks.

If You're Facing a Decision Point

Whether you're planning a new facility, watching census slide at an existing one, or simply trying to figure out if your organization needs outside leadership support, that's exactly the kind of conversation we have every day.
